As part of the ‘Art of Education’ study visit programme, we will be visiting Płock.
The itinerary includes two days dedicated to art and cultural education. On the first day, we will visit the Mazovian Museum – one of the oldest museums in Poland, renowned for its extensive collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco works. Together, we will examine both artistic craftsmanship and modern approaches to constructing exhibition narratives, as well as educational activities. This will be followed by the workshop ‘Here, Everyone Has Fair Triangular Heads’, led by Pamela Bożek, focusing on working with children and young people with diverse needs and on inclusive educational methods. The day will conclude with a walk through Płock’s Old Town and a visit to the historic Granary.
The second day will begin with a meeting at the Płock Art Gallery, where exhibition activities and collaboration with the local community will be presented. We will also learn about the OTO MY initiative, which combines art with social activism. We will then visit the studios of the Płock Centre for Culture and Art. The programme will continue with workshops exploring the theme of accessibility in culture. To conclude, we invite you to the opening of the exhibition ‘Geometries of Thought, Structures of Feeling’.
