Nadia Markiewicz plays the role of a fictional freak — a performer known under the stage name The Lonesome Wing, who, according to rumours, was born with the wing of a white bird instead of one arm. Previously employed in a travelling circus and as a magicianʼs dove, she reappears to perform after years of absence.
