Екскурсія в ціні квитка, кількість місць обмежена

Творчість польської художниці Терези Гєжинської (нар. 1947), донедавна невідомої широкому загалу, сьогодні можна побачити на великій монографічній виставці. Художниця експериментує з різними техніками та змішує їх, переважно досліджуючи ті, що характерні для «менших форм»: фотографію, колаж та графіку. Гєжинська розглядає теми самосприйняття та тілесності, об’єктивованого образу жінки, створенного масовою культурою, та гендерних ролей в патріархальному суспільстві. Формат сприяє роздумам про інтимність і приватну сферу.

    Women Live for Love
    Teresa Gierzyńska

    The artist explores the fringes of photography, using it as a record of her performative practice, and experiments with methods of its reproduction and processing. She introduces into art visual elements taken from mass culture and its techniques. The exhibition is built around the most important series: About Her and The Essence of Things.
